1. Our Core Promise (The Plain-English TL;DR)

We do not collect, keep, or sell your personal information for any nefarious reasons.

As an independent creator, developer, and maker operating out of Palmer, Alaska, I am fascinated by technology, crafting, and building systems that work. I have absolutely no interest in hoarding, trading, or selling your personal data. Any data collected on our websites is used strictly to:

  • Keep our storefronts and applications running safely and smoothly.
  • Secure our websites from malicious bots, hackers, and spam.
  • Process and fulfill your orders with our printing and manufacturing partners.
  • Analyze generalized traffic trends because we love seeing what keywords bring people to our specialized niches.

You can rest assured that your information is handled with the highest standard of security and respect.

2. What We Collect and Store

While you browse or buy from any of the stores in our network, we may collect and track certain information to ensure a functional e-commerce experience:

  • Viewed Products: We use cookies to keep track of products you’ve recently viewed so we can display them to you and make your browsing easier.
  • Location, IP Address, and Browser Type: This is analyzed to estimate regional taxes and shipping options before checkout, as well as to protect our network from security threats.
  • Shipping Address: We will ask you to enter this so we can accurately estimate shipping and deliver your physical items.
  • Transactional Information: When you make a purchase, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, and optional account credentials (username and password). This data is used to:
    • Send you transactional emails about your order status, receipts, and account.
    • Respond to your requests, customer support questions, refunds, or complaints.
    • Process secure payments and prevent fraudulent transactions.
    • Comply with legal and financial obligations, such as tax calculation and reporting.
    • Set up and maintain your secure customer account.

We generally store information about you only for as long as we need it for the purposes for which we collect it, or as required by law (for example, keeping order records for tax and accounting purposes).

3. Our Essential Tools & Third-Party Service Integrations

To run a modern, automated network of e-commerce sites efficiently, we partner with reliable third-party services. We do not store your highly sensitive details (like credit card numbers) on our own servers. Instead, we securely pass data to the specialized tools listed below.

For details on how these platforms handle your data, we encourage you to refer to their respective privacy policies linked below.

Security & Spam Prevention

  • Wordfence: We use Wordfence keys and firewalls across all domains to defend our sites from malware, brute-force attacks, and unauthorized access. View Wordfence Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: We utilize Turnstile on login, checkout, and form submissions to protect our sites from automated spam and bots without requiring frustrating CAPTCHAs. This security tool operates by analyzing browser telemetry to verify human users, in accordance with the mandatory disclosures under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and Cloudflare Terms of Service.

Analytics & Search Engine Optimization

  • Google Analytics: We use the official Google Analytics integration to analyze generalized traffic trends, visitor keywords, and geographic regions. This data is entirely aggregated and anonymized. View Google Privacy & Terms
  • RankMath Pro: We use RankMath Pro to optimize our on-site search engine presence and track the SEO performance of our products and articles. View RankMath Privacy Policy

E-Commerce Core & Payment Processing

  • WooCommerce: The underlying framework of our online stores. It securely manages cart data, product lists, and customer profiles. View Automattic/WooCommerce Privacy Policy
  • PayPal: All monetary transactions are processed securely via PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. View PayPal Privacy Policy

Email Deliverability & Communications

  • FluentSMTP: All transactional emails (such as order confirmations, password resets, and contact form responses) are routed securely using the open-source FluentSMTP plugin to ensure maximum deliverability, secure server routing, and end-to-end encryption. View FluentSMTP details

Automation & Systems Management

  • Make.com: We use Make.com as our network’s automation engine. When an order is placed, Make.com securely passes the necessary order details to our internal notification systems (such as secure email and developer Discord pings) so we can immediately begin fulfillment. View Make.com Privacy Policy

4. Print-on-Demand (POD) & Manufacturing Partners

Since we utilize a hybrid business model combining digital assets with physical goods, we partner with specialized global and local manufacturers to print and ship our custom apparel, gear, tabletop minis, and crafts. When you purchase a physical product, your shipping information (and only what is required to manufacture and ship your order) is shared with the corresponding fulfillment partner:

Depending on the specific storefront and item purchased, we may also occasionally route orders through other trusted fulfillment platforms including PrintfulRedbubble, or Society6.

5. Comments, Cookies, and Media

If you interact with the social or community elements of our sites:

  • Comments: When visitors leave comments on any of our sites, we collect the data shown in the comments form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist in spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email address may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it (their policy is at Automattic Privacy).
  • Media: If you upload images to our websites, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, as other visitors can download and extract this data.
  • Cookies: If you leave a comment, you can opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These cookies last for one year. Temporary cookies are also set on our login pages to check browser compatibility, and login cookies are saved to remember your session preferences.
