$5.00 When the American Girls first came out my mom knew we'd never get one but ordered the catalog for her daughters to look at anyway. While looking at it I discovered the mini dolls and promptly ordered one post haste as I decided that it would be an Easter present for my sister.

The Easter Bunny that year hid this little one up in one of the trees of the back yard to the point where my sister had to nearly climb the tree to rescue her. It was love at first site.

I originally made this dress to fit her doll which was the first version of the dolls. Years later I decided I wanted to make more dresses and ordered my own doll. Finally last winter I broke down and bought another one for my daughter.

We all enjoy dressing these little dolls in the very easy to make patterns I've done!
