I'm looking to try to figure out who this lovely lady
doll is. She is Marked MANCO in a diamond on her head
and v-20 on her butt. She has sleepy eyes with all
her lashes and her hair is the redish brown that shows
up in the close up. She has green eyes and is jointed
at the shoulders, hips and head only. Her dress is
not the original. I found her for $5 at an Oregon Salvation
Army several years ago and when I moved to Alaska she
was one of the lucky few dolls I brought with me. From
what I've found on the net she is a 14R type fashion
doll of the 1955-1960 time frame. If anyone can add
to this information on her please let me know!
This was a man doll I dressed for a
lady when I was doing custom sewing. He is supposed
to be the main character from a show called Snowy River.
The very first try at making
something in half scale. This was to see IF I could
sew that tiny :-)
