Who can share patterns?

Tiny Betsy, Madeline, Cloe & Stacy are all close enough in size that they share the same patterns. Each doll has her own page and item number to allow me to track which doll is most popular
Kelly and Strawberry Shortcake are also very close in size. A simple modification to the bodice is all that is necessary as SS is skinnier
Tiny Kitty and the new smooth body Barbie only have length issues therefore the patterns for Tiny Kitty will have Barbie and Tiny Kitty cutting lines!
1" scale dolls-- most lady dolls where the body is made of wrapped pipecleaner and not porcelain. The full body dolls should work but will require adjustment of most major areas such as bust, waist & hips along with occationally skirt length depending on how long the legs are or how they are done.
Most baby dolls that are 1 1/2"-2" tall are generally the same sizes and the patterns should work wtih little to no trouble.

Are the dress form patterns 1" scale?

Yes, currently all my dress form patterns are 1" scale only although I do have plans for other sizes for Barbie, Tiny Kitty and possibly other dolls as well.

Can you explain further how to use a Pattern Kit?

Pattern Kits are generally basic blocks or sloper pieces that can be altered into many styles. In the regular fashion industry a sloper is setup and is the basis for all the clothes that are seen in the stores hence the reason some things might not fit a specific person as the slopers are based on 'average' measurements and not designed specifically with an individual in mind.
A sloper fits but is not form fitting as that is a specific pattern for a specific style as in a fitted evening gown's bodice. Slopers are a base piece that more pieces can be made from using a slash n' spread or pin n' pivot method of pattern alteration. Any style loose or form fitting can be created from the sloper. Darts that curve outward slightly will fit closer to the body than straight darts, tucks taken accross the area where a dart would be can be more flattering to a figure than a series of pleats, A series of darts makes for a more interesting design than a single dart, darts that come from a different point on the bodice or that are curved can make for a more interesting design. It's all in the imagination as to where a dart should be as they do not have to come just from the waist they can come from the sides, armhole or neck and still provide fit to the bust.
As for skirts there are many things that can be done to make a skirt fit or fuller it depends on the design you have in mind. The patterns in a kit are the base for almost any design you can think of it just depends on what you want as to how you alter the pattern.
